Join us for an informal discussion between pilots and air traffic controllers at Centennial Airport!
KAPA is one of the busiest General Aviation airports in the country. Every day at Centennial Airport is a busy day filled with radio congestion and a wide variety of aircraft types operating in a small area. Controllers and pilots must be sharp and succinct on the radio to preserve valuable radio time for safety’s sake. We know we are already doing pretty well, but there is always room for improvement.
The goal of this round table is to achieve optimum communications between Air Traffic Control, Airport Administration, and the General Aviation Community – specifically Aspen Flying Club pilots. Several KAPA ATC professionals will lead a forum-style discussion where pilots will be encouraged to ask questions and express concerns. We are very fortunate to have a friendly group of individuals working in the tower, who are eager to talk with us and show us how we can all work better together as a strong team.Pilots of all experience levels are encouraged to attend.
NOTE: This seminar qualifies for FAA WINGS Credit, and registration is managed through that site. Click here to register.
We anticipate that seating will fill to capacity, so register early to ensure your spot. Registration is open now for Aspen members, and will open to the general public
