Introduction to Self Defense with a Firearm 

This class is intended for those who wish to know more about practical self defense with a firearm, but who have little or no knowledge or experience. There are no prerequisits for this training.

You will be introduced to basic topics, including:

• Understanding the survival mindset
• Different types of firearms and how they work
• Rules for safe gun handling and use
• Selecting the right firearm for home defense or carry
• How to apply for an Ohio concealed handgun license

In addition, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your concerns during the class or privately. 

 The class will be conducted in a safe, comfortable setting. There will be no shooting during this class. However, we will have various firearms on display to demonstrate what options are available to you. All guns will be unloaded and "roped" which renders them inoperable.

We ask that you DO NOT bring any guns or ammunition of any kind to this class.
