The Greater Oregon STEM Hub, in partnership with OregonASK and the National League of Cities, is honored to extend this invitation for you to join us in La Grande on October 5th for a lunch conversation around the impact of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) opportunities throughout Eastern Oregon.
Please join us at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, OR as we discuss the state’s STEM Strategic Plan, local STEM & CTE investments, the importance of building systems to support career connections, and what role we each play in supporting these efforts.
We are bringing together community programs and educators, superintendents, municipal leaders, and workforce investment representatives to work towards an aligned system of support that will help meet the needs of stakeholders in all of our communities. We are excited to include you in the discussion as we find strategies for building a mutually beneficial system to support local economic vitality, informal STEM learning, and increased career connected STEM opportunities for Eastern Oregon youth and families.
You can contact GO STEM Hub Grant Coordinator Julie Keniry with any questions about the event, jkeniry@eou.edu or 541-962-3012.
