NHSN Training Session 2: NHSN Facility Enrollment and Adding Users - Sept. 15

Join us September 15 for Session 2 of our 3-part webinar series to prepare the Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) Cohort of the Nursing Home Quality Care Collaborative to submit reports into the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). Nursing homes must be ready to submit October data by November 1, 2016.

In Session 2, you will learn how to

enroll your facility in NHSN
confer rights to HealthInsight to view a summary of your NHSN reported events
add multiple users to your facility group.

NOTE:
Please make sure you and your staff who will be accessing and using NHSN have completed the Session 1 steps regarding SAMS registration before attending the Session 2 webinar. Visit the Nursing Home Quality Improvement web page for the recording and materials from Session 1 on SAMS Enrollment.

We highly encourage you to attend this live webinar in case you have any questions that can be immediately addressed. This webinar also will be recorded and available for later viewing.

Any persons planning to help with NHSN data submission or analysis. We recommend at least two people from each facility be trained. Recommended positions to train:

Director of nursing
Infection control/prevention manager
Medical records person
MDS coordinator
Nurse manager
