Advanced Branding & Messaging - Refine Your Food Brand

If you joined the introductory "Your Logo Is Great..." class on how to build a brand, or you have gone through your own brand building efforts, you will enjoy this opportunity to go a layer deeper on refining your brand.  During this interactive session, you will learn how to build and refine a strong brand so that it is effectively communicated and about the importance of evolving your brand as the business grows.  Direct benefits of attending also include learning: When to act (is it time to pivot or revise our brand?); the methods involved in effective research; how to synthesize the insights that come from research to inform emotional concepts and the most effective ways to test your concepts to arrive at a new, relevant brand.

About the Speaker:

After years working for large advertising agencies like DraftFCB, Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett, David Kelbaugh founded Tacklebox in 2012 with the belief that “when you get the brand right, the rest comes easy.” In its two years of existence, Tacklebox has worked with over 40 clients - many of which are in the food and beverage industry. Hannah’s Bretzel, Hudson Valley Distillers, Windy City Snacks Food Delivery Company and Goose Island Beer Company are a few of Tacklebox’s clients.

This seminar is produced by The Hatchery, a collaboration between ICNC and Accion Chicago to bring education, capital, and support to the Chicagoland food entrepreneur community. Food entrepreneurship programming is funded in part by:
