Mandatory training for all NEFLIN members interested in facilitating a 2017 Interest Group

Face-to-face meetings can present certain challenges, but facilitating an online meeting can seem like chasing shadows – except the shadows reside in the chat box.

In this one-hour session, we’ll talk about the best way to plan for an online meeting, how to set expectations before the meeting, and how to encourage discussion during the meeting.

Put on your “chat caps” and attend this interactive session so that you too can be an efficient and effective facilitator for your interest group!

Linda Bruno received her MBA from the University of Florida and has been developing and conducting training workshops for libraries and other organizations for more than fifteen years. She develops her workshops based on solid research and – more importantly – real-life application.
