Dr. Paige Adams, Research Assistant Professor, Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University will present.
Dr. Adams has experience working as a large animal veterinarian. Her primary research interests include studies of the immunopathogenesis of arboviruses as well as the development of vaccines and therapeutics for pathogenic viruses within the genus Alphavirus.

What is the VetMed Lecture Series?
K-State has six Career and Cases in Veterinary Medicine Lectures scheduled this semester (Fall 2016). These lectures provide a rare opportunity for K-12 students, teachers and community members to learn about cases in Veterinary Medicine through our K-State experts.
A verification slip will be issued upon the conclusion of the lecture to confirm your participation for which your teacher may award credit points for attending the lecture.
