"No fixing, no saving, no setting each other straight!"
This advice from educator Parker Palmer guides the active listening techniques used in St Martin's popular Women Connecting program. We are led by a desire to listen with no agenda other than to understand. This is a powerful way of connecting to another person. Not only does it lead to understanding each other, but as we are listened to, we grow into a deeper understanding or ourselves.
This program will explore how this techniques for active listening can be a model for all.
