According to Basil Pennington, Centering Prayer is “but a simple way to open the door wide all the way to let God in Christ come in.” Rev. Sharline Fulton will lead an introduction to this prayer form that allows one to discover God in contemplative silence.
About the Facilitator
The Rev. Sharline Fulton is a retired Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Pennsylvania. Her training as a spiritual director has included certification from both the Jesuit Spiritual Center at Wernersville, Pa., and Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, with an MA in Christian Spirituality. She previously served as a Spiritual Director and conductor of Retreats in the Diocese of Pennsylvania and as a staff member at The Church of St. Martin-in the-Fields. She now works in private practice.
