Aggression, Tantrums and Defiance - Significantly reduce all three with the skill of Emotional Regulation.

Workshop Features:

  • Begin to reflect on your emotions and behaviors, and consciously model social-emotional learning for children.
  • Respond to children's upset in an attuned way that fosters self-regulation.
  • Become conscious of the Five Steps to Self-Regulation and apply them to your life and the lives of children.
  • Teach children to identify, regulate and express their emotions constructively through the use of the Feeling Buddies.
  • Teach children how to calm and soothe themselves.
  • Learn the four basic conflicts that occur in classrooms and strategies to solve each of them.
  • Understand the connection between attention and emotion and build children's attention span.
  • Learn how to creat a self-regulation learning center called the Safe Place.

Jill Molli has the uncanny ability to help people laugh and learn at the same time. Jill was selected as a Loving Guidance Assocate because of her no-nonsense ability to get to the heart of a situation and her commitment to living Loving Guidance principles at school and at home. She is an entertaining, motivating and heart-felt presenter.  Jill is a "Connector" for family needs.  She began her teaching career in a behavior disabilities classroom, moved into a regular third grade classroom, and then completed her requirements as a guidance counselor.  She has Master's Degree in Counseling, a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and 15 years of working with children with behavior problems.  Since 2003, she has been the owner and operator of Connecting with Kids, a business who's mission is to build connections in families and classrooms. In an effort to stay current and up to date with recent issues in the classroom, Jill volunteers weekly in preschool and elementary settings and quarterly in and alternative high school.
