What does a Borrower Need to Know?  

Need capital to start or expand your business. This workshop hosted by Delaware SCORE and the Delaware District SBA office will discuss SBA loan programs and requirements as well as host other community lenders who will offer their perspective on loan qualifications. SCORE representatitives will be on hand to discuss how Delaware SCORE can assist your business in preparing for you loan application.

James Provo - Jim is the Veteran's Representititve, Economic Development Specialist, and Public Information Officer of the Delaware District SBA Office. he is also an active entrepreneur in his own right, running his own franchise business alon with  his wife. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to the question of how to obtain capital through loans, and using the SBA services. 

Rachel Baldini - Rachel is the Director of Lending for the First State Commuity Loan Fund. She manages lending for both SBA backed loans as well as loans made under Small Business and Community Development programs. She holds a BS in Business and Finance from the University of Delaware and is on the BOD of the Delaware Diamonds Alumni Chapter (Gamma Sigma Sigma). She is knowledgeable in lending activities that includeloan underwriting, loan origination, loan servicing, and portfolio management.
