2017 Cycling for Sight

Register now for the 2017 Cycling for Sight ride to support the Montgomery Lions Club Community Foundation charities (501(c)3). The Montgomery Bicycle Club, The Shoppes at EastChase, and Blackfinn Ameripub invite you to ride Cycling for Sight, a 20-mile, 45-mile, 65-mile, and 100-mile fun ride. The ride commemorates Helen Keller, a native Alabamian, who courageously challenged Lions Club members to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness".

Online Registration closed at 9 am CDT on Thursday, June 22. Since online registration is now closed, you may register on-site for $75 at Montgomery MultiSport (8107 Vaughn Road, Peppertree Shopping Center, Montgomery, AL 36117) on Friday, 6/23 from 3-7 pm, or at Blackfinn Ameripub (6854 Eastchase Parkway, Montgomery, AL 36117) on Saturday, 6/24 from 6-7 am.

Choose one of the four supported routes to enjoy fully stocked rest stops along the beautiful rural back roads of East Montgomery County. You will have mechanical and SAG support every mile of the way provided by the bike and Iron Man outfitting professionals at Montgomery Multisport.

The ride will also benefit Ability Sport Network (ASN) at Huntingdon College. ASN serves youth and young adults with physical disabilities, ages 6–21, in the River Region who have a desire to participate in sport and adapted activity.

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided by the generous hospitality of Blackfinn Ameripub. The first 400 registrants will receive a custom 24 oz Polar Water bottle and all registrants will automatically be entered to win a bike from Regions Bank. Extra Regions Bank bicycle raffle tickets may be purchased for $5 each on the registration page. Non-Rider Lunch Passes can also be purchased on the registration page. 2017 Cycling for Sight T-Shirts are NO longer available for pre-purchase. You may check on ride day on Saturday, June 24 to ascertain if any extra T-Shirts are available for sale.
