Free Training Seminar on How to Effectively Use Simulations in Your Classroom

Who should attend: New, prospective, and even experienced instructors that want to get the most out of a Marketplace learning experience.

To grasp the full potential of Marketplace Live, you will participate in several decision rounds of the Conscious Capitalism® simulation.You will experience the benefits and challenges of operating a conscious business in addition to the traditional profit-maximizing business paradigm. 

At strategic points during the seminar, Dr. Cadotte will pause the simulation to discuss best practices in managing a Marketplace exercise.

Our Welcome Dinner will be held at the Dancing Bear Lodge on Monday at 6:00pm. This is a great way to get to know the Marketplace staff as well as some new faces in academia. For those with a competitive spirit, we will conclude the evening with a fun game of beach ball volleyball in the grass (shoes are optional).

Location: Dancing Bear Lodge, Townsend, TN - The Quiet Side of the Smoky Mountains

This seminar will be hosted just a few minutes from the Smoky Mountains National Park. April is the peak season to see spring flowers and enjoy a hike or two around this beautiful destination. Feel free to extend your stay with the Dancing Bear Lodge the weekend before the seminar begins. 

Cost: There is no charge for the seminar, including materials, meals, and refreshments. Rooms are $165 per night.
