WAITLIST FOR SISTERHOOD 2017 MIND, BODY & SPIRITS! YOGA & HITASUKHA HOUR

A Little bit about the event. . . .

Back by popular demand ~ Come relax, restore, and renew with Body, Mind & Spirits! Yoga & Hitasukha Hour. 

The afternoon will begin promptly at 2:00 pm, with yoga led by Julie Samson.  For the next two hours, let the soothing music wash over you as Julie guides you through relaxation breath work, yogic gentle movements, and restorative yoga to help bring a sense of calm and relaxation to your body, mind and spirit.

During the program, you will be laying down on the floor, and using blankets and bolsters for support with each pose.  Julie will provide personal attention to each of you, making adjustments for your body’s alignment and comfort. 

At the conclusion of the yoga program (at approx. 4:00 pm), we'll continue our state of well-being and happiness by going next door to Santorini's for no-host spirits and noshes.

The cost for Yoga is $10.00 per person at the door. Check or cash accepted.

Studio space for Yoga is limited to 14 persons, so please RSVP early.  There is no limit to Hitasukha Hour.

Tips for a relaxing session

  • You should be nice and cozy and comfortably warm during our practice  
  • Wear comfortable lose fitting clothes,
  • Wear socks, or bring a pair of socks 
  • Bring an eye bag if you have one, (eye bags provided at studio)
  • Bring a long sleeved cotton shirt and a sweatshirt,
  • You can cover yourself with a provided blanket (The room will be comfortably heated)
  • leave your shoes at the door
  • Eat lightly until 2 hours prior
  • Begin to cultivate your intention of coming to this practice to unwind, and relax.
