Overview
You can make your own marketing videos. They are a visual and engaging way to market your product/services to your clients and potential customer base. A good video can draw visitors to your website, increase time spent on your social media pages and spread the word about your brand. Most of all successful videos have one thing in common: they tell a compelling story.
Producing high-quality videos to communicate your brand message can be costly and time consuming. In this workshop, you’ll learn a different approach -- how to use your own video enabled smart phone, tablet or consumer still camera to create a business video, edit it and upload it to your YouTube Channel, website, blog or social media pages.

Facilitator: Jim Alles
Chief executive with e-commerce background and experience; expertise in computer systems and software programs, and web design, specifically for increasing revenues. A SCORE NYC Mentor, Jim has many SCORE clients involving websites and e-commerce.
Instructor: Jennie Bourne
Jennie Bourne is the Managing Director or Bournedigital, where she develops video strategies and produces online business videos. She is the author of Web Video: Making It Great, Getting it Noticed, and has produced hundreds of short videos for the web.
Jennie makes compelling video for businesses and organizations based on her many years of journalistic experience writing, producing and editing broadcast and print news including WABC-TV, NBC News, NPR, as well as Newsweek and Essence magazines. She is a member of the Producers Guild of American New Media Council, and teaches writing, producing and media management at NYU and Rutgers. She holds a MS in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University School of Broadcast Journalism.
