Explore techniques from the Episcopal tradition and beyond to assist in fostering spiritual self-care. How does God speak in these challenging times? How do we muster hope and energy for the work ahead?

The Facilitator                             

The Rev. Betsy Ivey is rector of St. Simon the Cyrenian Episcopal Church in Philadelphia. She was ordained to the priesthood in 2014, the first African American woman to be so in the Diocese of Central PA. Betsy was called to St. Simon’s to serve as Rector in 2015.  She serves on the Nominations Committee, the Commission on Ministry and the Anti-racism Commission in the Diocese of PA.  Betsy is Chaplain to the Faculty and Staff of St. James School; and, recently, answered the call to serve part-time on the staff of the Offices of the Diocese of PA as the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.
