7:30-8:00       – Registration at the hotel

8:00-8:30       – Welcomes everybody and gives an update on AEG Texas and National (Stephanie Coffman, Chair). 

8:30-9:30       – Presentation about the Dry Comal Dam (Chuck Easton, P.E., Freese and Nichols, Inc.)

9:30-9:45       – Presentation on the geology of the Capital Aggregate Mine (Jim Sansom, P.G.)

9:45-10:00     – Restroom break then board the vehicles 

10:00-10:30   – Drive to Capital Aggregate

10:30-10:45   – Capitol Safety Training

10:45-11:45   – Visit outcrop and review geology (Jim Sansom, PG)

11:45-12:00   – Drive to Dry Comal Flood Control Structure 

12:00-12:45  – Picnic lunch (bring a camp chair or blanket)

12:45-1:45    – Walk tour of the Dry Comal Flood Control Structure then hear from the project owner, engineers, and geologists.

1:45 – 2:15   – Drive back to the hotel where we will hold a Chapter business meeting before adjourning.
