SCORE and Capital One Bank have partnered to provide a workshop designed to help small businesses not only survive but thrive in the current economy.
You will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a SCORE mentor and Capital One banker to discuss your unique situation and network with other small businesses who are facing similar challenges.
The Workshop will be presented in two parts:
Business Alternatives for the Entrepreneur
You want to own a business but you face a choice. Should I start up a new business or should I buy an existing business or buy a franchise?
We will review the ten most important factors you need to consider in evaluating each of the alternatives.
Sample topics include: What management experience is required? Is funding one alternative easier than funding another? Will you control your own destiny? What are the valuation metrics?
