Entrepreneurship in 3 Easy Steps

Module 1: Basics of Business Startup


This workshop series lays the groundwork for helping new and aspiring entrepreneurs launch a business idea and understand the steps to building a business that is credit ready. The information is laid out simply in three modules. Come to all three or attend the one that fits your needs. All sessions will be in the Danbury Library Farioly Program Room and will run from 11:00am - 12:30pm.

Thursday, May 11: READY: Basics of Business Startup - this session will cover what you need to consider and prepare for in the early stages.

Thursday, May 18: SET: Essentials of Becoming Credit-Ready - this session will cover where to get money, the five C's of Credit and how to prepare a business loan application.

Thursday, May 25: GO: Additional Small Business Support - this session will tell you how and where to find additional small business support and educational resources including the SBA District Office, SCORE of Western Connecticut, SBDC, Center for Women & Enterprise, Veteran's Centers, etc).
