Join the Association for New Canadians at our annual Diversity Symposium as we celebrate 20 years of specialised workshops on diversity, cultural intelligence, and immigration in Newfoundland and Labrador.

This year's theme – "Business Diversity at the Crossroads of the World" – will bring together a broad cross-section of the local business community in the Gander area to explore diversity issues in business, with a focus on the healthcare, aviation, and food services industries. The keynote address will be delivered by Tareq Hadhad, a resettled Syrian refugee living in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and the founder and owner of the Peace by Chocolate company.

Between 9am and 10am, there will be a coffee networking session sponsored by the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (NLOWE) to welcome Symposium participants. The Symposium will officially open at 10am following the networking session.

The registration fee of $40 includes a buffet lunch and refreshments served throughout the day. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register early to save your spot.
