Seasonality:  How to Survive the Summer Slowdown - An Expert Panel Discussion

Come to listen and ask questions of local experts in the Manatee/Sarasota business community.  They will discuss the transition of people, product, and equipment, along with finances, processes and marketing ideas for a range of local industries. The panelists for this event include: Stefan Sommerfield, Dylan Bower and John Horne.

Stefan Sommerfield worked in New York for 40+ years in retail and clothing industries, with companies such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Gimbels, Izod Lacoste, and big box retailers Target, Burlington Coat Factory, and Dicks Sporting Goods. He also operated his own consulting services business for domestic and international marketers and retailers. After relocating to Florida, he continued in retail store management and merchandising.

Dylan Bower is the Manager of the Holiday Inn Sarasota Airport. He has also worked locally with Bonefish Grill and IMG Academy. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management. 

John Horne is the CEO of the award-winning Anna Maria Oyster Bar, which he has owned for 20 years. The Tamiami Trail location of the restaurant received the 2015 Small Business of the Year from The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
