Selling 101: Sales Process Essentials

Everyone Can Sell:  Learn How!

Who Should Attend?
Small business owners and start ups who want to learn tried and true selling techniques that work.

Overview

Effective selling is essential to every business or institution, large or small. Selling is really persuading, which means motivating others to do things with/or for us. It is the motor that makes every business function effectively.

Sales is everyone’s responsibility, and everyone is a “seller”. It includes everyone and all departments in the organization. That includes employees who “sell” themselves to their bosses and peers to gain promotions, respect and cooperation. It encompasses the CEO who sells investors, members of the board and employees on a corporate vision

Most people, however, don’t know how to sell. They’re afraid of selling because they fear rejection. Most people fear sales presentations for that reason. That’s the bad news.

The good news is that selling is a skill like any other. It can be learned and perfected through training and practice. This workshop will provide the tools to make you an effective persuader, or salesperson.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Define techniques to lessen anxiety of sales presentations and  discussions
  • Manage the sales discussion, using specific methods
  • Show your customers what your products can do for them(benefits) based on product features
  • Close the sale effectively
