How to Turn Ideas into Winning Products

Transform your brilliant idea into a workable reality

Who should attend?
Entrepreneurs and small business owners who have that brilliant idea they just have to transform into reality. Serial inventors and creative developers who need an extra step in changing their ideas into products they can monetize.

So you have an idea for a product, app, or service that you just know will change the world. Nobody else has thought of it and you are certain of its success. Yet, according to research agency, Accupoll, as many as 95 percent of new products introduced each year fail.

This workshop will provide you with a framework for the ideation, creation, and launch of a new product, app, or service that people will be willing to pay money to buy. It will help you avoid the more common pitfalls, tackle the most common challenges, and maximize your chances of success.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

  • Identify the common characteristics of successful products
  • Devise strategies to increase your product idea's chances of success
  • Effectively position, brand and price your product
  • Define success metrics for tracking your product success to allow for midcourse correction
  • Know how to begin developing the right sourcing strategy for your products

After the workshop, put your training into action.  Schedule a free follow up session with a SCORE NYC mentor to get you on your way.
