Presenters
1) Legal Business Structure – Dr. Mohammad (“Mo”) Tehrani, Serial Entrepreneur, CPA, and Executive VP of the Houston Chapter of SCORE. Mo started his first business in 1995. He has co-owned and still co-owns and/or invests in multiple businesses in varying sectors: real estate, pharmacy; security systems; and accounting.Currently he is a consulting partner with a public accounting firm in Houston, Texas. He is a full-time professor of accounting at HoustonCommunity College and a SCORE mentor.
2) Marketing, Branding, Tech Tools – Toni Harris Taylor of Drastic Steps Marketing. Toni has been a home-based entrepreneur for over 25 years. She helps entrepreneurs get known, get connected and get paid to make six figures in record time. From her home, Toni has grown her speaking and marketing business nationally and internationally to create a multiple six figure revenue. Toni is the author and contributing author of four books including an AmazonInternational bestseller.
3) Accountability and Work-Life Balance - Sandra Louvier, Director, Center for Entrepreneurship, HCC Northwest. Sandra has 17 years experience in economic feasibility analysis and appraisal in the hospitality industry. She honed her craft at PKF Consulting, Laventhol and Horwath and Marriott International, before starting her own consulting practice. Later, she served for nine years as U.S. Real Estate Director for the Haagen-Dazs Shoppe Company, Inc., franchise company. In 2009, she helped launch the Center forEntrepreneurship (c4e) and later came on board as director. This year, the Houston District Small Business Administration and SCORE recognized Ms. Louvier and the Center for Entrepreneurship as the 2017 Houston District Home-Based Business Champion.
