Registration: $75 (plus GST) for TIABC and BCLCA members/stakeholders; $99 (plus GST) for non-members. Aboriginal Tourism BC is providing complimentary registration to all AtBC stakeholders.

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 11 - ATBC Stakeholder Forum and Summit Networking Reception
Aboriginal Tourism BC is hosting a Stakeholder Forum (1pm to 4pm) and co-hosting a Networking Reception with TIABC (4pm to 6pm) at Musqueam Cultural Pavilion - 4000 Musqueam Avenue, Vancouver, BC. The Networking Reception is open to all Summit delegates.
THURSDAY OCTOBER 12 - Summit
8:15am: Registration open
9:00-10:00am: Concurrent annual general meetings for TIABC and Aboriginal Tourism Association of BC
10:00am: Break and registration for TIABC Summit
10:30am: TIAC Town Hall with Destination Canada, Aboriginal Tourism Canada, and TIABC to provide an opportunity to engage small and medium-sized business owners/operators across Canada to better understand efforts being made on national tourism issues.
12:30pm: Lunch and Keynote Speaker
2:00pm: Break
2:15pm - 3:15pm: MPs on the Hotseat - NDP Tourism Critic Gord Johns, Conservative Tourism Critic Blake Richards and Langley-Cloverdale Liberal MP John Aldag discuss and debate national tourism issues ranging from airport privatization and air access, to CRA assessments and temporary foreign workers. Panel moderated by TIABC.

3:30pm - 4:30pm: Join Destination BC for an update on their Destination and Industry Development programs and hear what their teams are doing now to address pivotal destination and industry trends and opportunities. Learn more about the Destination Development program that is creating a 10 Year Provincial Strategy focused at increasing our industry’s long term global competitiveness. Hear about recent industry success stories from the Remarkable Experiences program, a hands-on, collaborative industry learning program, aimed enabling our industry to become savvy digital and social media marketers while delivering outstanding and exceptional experiences. DBC will be joined by tourism partners, such as AtBC and other local tourism leaders, who will share their stories of - how through these programs and their own - they are working alongside their communities to manage and grow local tourism for long-term, sustained prosperity.
