AIA EKC Building Tour - Valvoline International Headquarters 

AIA East KY is pleased to offer its members an opportunity for continuing education (1.5 AIA LU) in conjunction with a tour of Valvoline’s new International Headquarters Building. The building is a four-story, 162,000 square foot facility, constructed to house 630 employees. A very tight project schedule necessitated a Design/Build delivery process, which was further complicated by Valvoline’s concurrent split from Ashland Oil. Essentially, the building was being designed concurrent with the design of the company that would reside there!

Local project architects will guide the tour and explain some of the projects challenges and strategies, and a brief period will be allotted for questions and answers, following the conclusion of the tour.
