Mark your calendars now for Keys Fest 2018 to be held at the Newly Renovated Breezy Palms Resort in Islamorada (MM 80) on Columbus Day Weekend from Friday, October 5, 2018 - Sunday, October 7, 2018.  Our block of rooms also includes Sunday night, October 7th if you want to stay over until Monday, October 8, 2018.

Join the Palm Beach County Planning Congress at the newly renovated oceanside  Breezy Palms Resort in beautiful Islamorada for a weekend of good friends, good food and good times. This is a family event with snorkeling, boating, fishing, BBQ, Shrimp Boil, volleyball and other games, watching football, or just loafing by the pool.  You can be as busy or as lazy as you like!.

If you are planning to come, be sure to make your reservations early to get your preferred room (see below for more info).  If you have never attended this event, please consider coming.  Since Monday, October 8th is the Columbus Day Holiday, the hotel is also honoring our room block through Sunday night for those of you who would like to extend your stay through Monday.

The PBC Planning Congress reserves a cottage right on the beach for general use and to host   breakfast for everyone on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  The cabin has a covered porch where we set up TVs for football watching.  Friday night we cook up a welcome feast of sausage and peppers, hot dogs for the kids, and side dishes.  Typically we rent or members bring boats to take snorkeling trips out to the lighthouse that is directly offshore from the hotel on Saturday.  Saturday night is our famous Shrimp Boil.  

The Breezy Palms Resort is an oceanside old style, family friendly Florida Keys resort with a mix of motel rooms, efficiencies, small bungalows, and one-bedroom pool and ocean side apartments. The cost for this event (to cover food and other expenses) is shared by the participating group and is paid on the last official day of the event (Sunday morning) based on actual expenses and the number and age of participants in your party.
