Project Management for Business Success 

Is your business running you or are you running your business? Using project management and a Work Breakdown Structure can let you organize and take more control over your business and to create a series of successes that lead to overall success. “A project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result.”  Ahmed will teach you to apply project management tools and techniques to small business projects and to manage your business as a series of successful projects. You will learn that a Work Breakdown Structure is simply taking business milestones and breaking them down into the tasks required to reach each milestone.

Speaker Bio: Ahmed is a seasoned project and program management practitioner with more than 20 years of professional services in training, teaching, IT, telecommunications, oil and gas, and consulting in Project and Program Management for various organizations including LHH (Lee Hecht Harrison), Gemalto, Cisco, The University of Phoenix, Planview, Sylvan Learning Center, Austin Community College (ACC), Austin PMI Chapter, UT Austin Professional Development Center, Schlumberger, AT&T, Clearwire, Windstream, Transcom and Citibank. He is an active volunteer officer with the Austin Project Management Institute, and Founder of the Austin Project Management Toastmasters club and the Central Texas College (CTC) Project Management Program. Ahmed is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration at the Incarnate Word University in San Antonio.
