Preventing Summer Learning Loss

Course Description:

Participants will be introduced to the concept of summer learning loss, as well as the effects that summer learning loss has on the academic achievement gap. Participants will discuss the challenges to implementing a summer academic program and begin to outline possible programming ideas for a summer academic model. Participants will also explore national and local academic resources available to their programs.
