Trainer Mandatory Update Clinic - June 2018

Location: Shane Homes YMCA at Rocky Ridge

Date: Friday, June 15 (6:00 pm - 9:30 pm) and Saturday, June 16 (8:30 am - 12:30 pm)

Lifesaving Society programs undergo a regular review and update process based on research, evidence and member feedback. A mandatory update occurs when there are changes to: program content, program delivery and/or program policy. Mandatory updates make sure that key messages and changes are consistently communicated to affiliate delivery partners and affected leadership volunteers. 

Trainers must complete mandatory updates (as required) as a prerequisite for recertification. Completion of a mandatory update does not recertify the trainer.

Note: Participation in this clinic does not guarantee appointment as a Lifesaving Society Trainer. 

Who attends:
-All current Instructor Trainers who wish to teach leadership programs in the new Leadership system in 2018.
-Instructor Trainers who wish to be eligible to recertify. 
-Instructor Trainer candidates who have successfully completed an Instructor Trainer Clinic prior to September 17, 2017.

Registration Fee: $15.00
