Our Keynote Presenter -  Deb Bass, Chief Executive Officer

Nebraska Health Information Initiative (NeHII)

Ms. Bass will present the Current State and Future Direction of Interoperability to set the stage for a highly-interactive day of thoughtful presentations, discussion, and problem-solving around interoperability in New Mexico. As a former surgical nurse, IT consultant, and current CEO of her state's health information exchange, Ms. Bass brings her unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge based on years of experience in the healthcare industry to inspire and motivate us to work across organizations to improve patient care.

“Even though we may work for different organizations with different internal priorities and hold different perspectives, I believe we all share the common goal of and responsibility for improving the health of our patients and communities – and, frankly, working together to achieve that goal has never been more important for all of us than it is today.”

~ 2017 Conference Chair, Timothy Washburn RN, BSN, MBAHM, Memorial Medical Center
