In the second half of the course, small business owners will get a matrix with details about the four specific JOBS Act types. President Obama signed the JOBS Act into law in 2012. Title II allows unlimited raises from Accredited Investors. Title III & IV allows raising money from Accredited and Non-Accredited Investors. Title III allows raising up to $1M/year, Title IV allows raising up to $20M/year (Tier 1) or $50M/year (Tier 2).

Dave Blankenship has 30 years in the IT industry, 20 as a Programmer/Analyst. In 2011 I went broke in an IT Consulting firm after 8 years. Reading the WSJ for 35 years gave me a deep interest in the financial industry. After toying with starting two Venture Capital firms, I finally found a home in Equity Crowdfunding.
