Event Scholarship
At Saint Matthew, we don't want a lack of funds to keep students from participating in our Teen Ministry. If you are in need of a partial scholarship, please contact us for an application. All information submitted is confidential. We will make every effort to help you.IGNITE BROOMBALL 2017
Churches from around Walnut Creek come together for a night of laughter, games, friends and a whole lot of fun! Don't slip up...you won't want to miss this event!
We will meet at SMLC Teen Center to play games, enjoy munchies and just hang-out. Later that night we will head to Dublin Iceland rink to play broomball and have a fun time just slipping and sliding around on the ice.
The Broomball Overnight event starts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 13th and ends at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14th. Remember to eat dinner before you arrive. We'll provide snacks and breakfast.
In addition to registering for Broomball, you must complete a 2017/18 Teen Ministry Registration & Medical Form. This form is required to participate in our Teen Ministry program and needs to be completed only once for the year. If you have not completed this in the past month you are not registered. Please click the red link below to complete this form. There is a annual fee of $25 for our Teen Ministry Program.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
COST: $30. Last day to register is 10/6.
BRING:
- Sleeping bag, sleeping pad & pillow
- Closed toed shoes
- Warm jacket or sweatshirt and gloves
- Change of clothes
- Something to sleep in
- Toiletries (including deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
- Optional - knee & elbow pads
LEAVE:
- Cell Phones, iPods and electronic games at home.
