Essentials for Starting a Business 

Experts are available as resources to help you operate effectively in the business environment, but you must understand when they are needed and what questions to ask. This workshop introduces the essentials to help you make good business decisions.

This workshop is limited to 10 people. Presenters will help you become familiar with banking and Small Business Administration requirements, basics of marketing and utilizing social media to grow your business, types and benefits of business formation, business insurance, recordkeeping that meets IRS guidelines and more.  The workshop is hosted by SCORE mentors with material presented by local subject matter experts.

The presenters are SCORE mentors who have many years of experience and leading businesses and local professionals who are experts in their fields.
