Tracking A Business on Quickbooks for the Small Business Owner

The workshop will be built around a fictional small business acting as sole proprietorship. As we build a Quickbooks account for this business, this class will demonstrate to how to set up an account and enter data so that business owners will be able to follow the same process after the class, once they go back to running their business.

We will review the main reports generated by Quickbooks, so you will learn the differences between Cash Flow statement, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statement. We will show you how to read and understand them which will allow you to make better financial decisions and understand the bookkeeping and accounting language as you grow your business.  

What this class is not:
- Not a review of basic accounting terms.
- Not a live set up of Quickbooks specifically for your business during the workshop.

We will use as example a fictitious company representative of a sole proprietorship business and give you examples of various entries and how they affect the financial picture of your company. You will not need to bring your computer for this class.
