Lee County: The Value of Meaningful Appreciation - Dec. 14th 

We all know that acknowledging those who help us is important in all aspects of our lives, yet in the workplace we struggle with gratitude the most. For efforts heroic or small, our staff and coworkers deserve our sincere thanks. Clearly, we thank our clients – but how often do we examine how meaningful our gestures are? Our December panelists will show us how heartfelt appreciation helps attract and retain employees and convert clients into brand evangelists.

Marc Collins, Owner of Marc Collins Designs. Marc is a native of Athens, Alabama has lived in Ft. Myers for 22 years. Marc has had “Marc Collins Designs”, a residential and commercial interior design company for 24 years. The last 20 years Marc has focused on commercial hospitality design. Marc is very involved in numerous charitable organizations here in S. W. Florida, in raising both issue awareness and in fundraising for many organizations. Marc has been married to Lori Carroll- Collins for 17 years and they have 2 fur babies

 

 
 Stephen Gray-Blancett, International Artist  In addition to being an international known for his fine artist, Stephen Blancett is also the President of Pulse Technology Solutions based in Fort Myers. Stephen volunteers his free time to many local charities. He has been honored with a Red Ribbon Award from Positive Outreach Services and Southwest Florida’s Mary Award for Humanitarian of the Year. He served four years on the Board of Directors for the Island Coast AIDS Network (ICAN), and one year as President. For the past 18 years, Stephen has donated both his time and art to the annual Arts for ACT Gala and Fine Art Auction, benefiting Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc. (ACT). He recently served as the 2017 Chairperson for that event, which raised $225,000.00.


 Gail Markham, CPA/ABV/CFF, CFE, CFP, founding partner of Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company Gail graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland College of Business and Management and is the founding partner of MNMW. She holds multiple certifications and accreditations supporting her extensive experience in litigation services, mediation, and forensic accounting, and has earned multiple national, state, and local awards and recognitions. She is a firm believer in giving back to the community. Gail makes an effort to know her family, friends, clients, and team members, and finds unique ways to share her appreciation to all.

 Judy Marla Williams Co-Owner of Spada Salon & Day Spa. Judy is a highly effective, strategic leader offering a unique blend of sales, communications, operations, financial, and team building expertise. Twenty plus years of hands on experience in business strategizing, driving sales, developing and retaining motivated teams and managing and growing division’s profitability. A dynamic business owner who has demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success and move companies in different directions to achieve desired results. Due to her passion about giving back to the community, she hosts an annual event, SPADA-thon where she raises money for PACE, Valerie's House and The Golisano Children's Hospital. The year, Judy and her team raised a record breaking $43,000.

 Emcee: Dennis Gingerich Business Owner/Consultant at Successful Successions, Photographer/Owner at Gingerich PhotoArt and Co-founder at Gingerich Tours, Founding Pastor at Cape Christian Fellowship. Dennis grew up in Oregon but has lived in Cape Coral 31 years. He been married to Linda for 43 years. They have three adult married children and four grandchildren.
