Charlie O'Brien, Cantor Colburn
Charlie O'Brien is the Chair of Cantor Colburn’s IP Transactional Group. He concentrates his transactional practice on the exploitation, transfer, and licensing of technology. Charlie has extensive experience in all aspects of complex IP licensing, including the preparation and negotiation of patent license agreements, software license agreements, joint development agreements, trademark license agreements, material transfer agreements, joint marketing and promotion agreements, and the like. Charlie is also a member of Cantor Colburn’s Litigation Department and has extensive experience in litigating IP related actions, including patent infringement actions and contractual disputes regarding IP rights.
Taylor Coon, Cantor Colburn
Taylor Coon is an associate with experience in several areas of IP. She concentrates her practice in a variety of technologies related to chemical engineering including pharmaceuticals, polymers, and materials science. She has been involved in advising clients in all aspects of patent law, including patent application preparation, prosecution, counseling, and portfolio management. Taylor has conducted patentability, freedom to operate, validity, and infringement searches; prepared the corresponding patentability, freedom to operate, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions, and has represented clients in all aspects of domestic and foreign patent prosecution. Her experience extends to trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and corporate transactions relating to intellectual property assets.
