SCORE Naples is Participating in 2018 Venture Pitch SWFL
Southwestern Florida entrepreneurs seeking capital for their young enterprises will have an opportunity to compete for $50,000 in seed money at a Shark Tank-style event in April 2018.
Conceived by the Tamiami Angel Fund, Venture Pitch SWFL endeavors to build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem within Southwest Florida.
SCORE Naples will provide the screening committee and select the 10 semi-finalists from Lee and Collier Counties. Semi-finalists will then move to the next round for the selection of the final four businesses to present to judges before a live audience at Babcock Ranch on April 12th.
To be considered for Venture Pitch companies must be in the pre-revenue stage or within the first few months of producing revenues; must be in business less than two years; have a scalable business model; and have not already raised more than $1 million.
