Why and How America's Cities
Are Becoming PC (Pollinator Conscious)

Friday Morning Seminar with Phyllis Stiles

Advance for this seminar is now closed.
Tickets will be available at the door.

Landscapes should be attractive and easy to maintain, right?

Yes, but can they also sustain at-risk essential pollinator species?

Why have more than 100 American counties, municipalities and
institutions of higher education joined the Bee City USA or Bee Campus USA network in the last few years?

How are city leaders and staff leading the way as pollinator advocates in urban and suburban settings?

Is it expensive or time consuming to become a certified affiliate of the Bee City USA or Bee Campus USA and to maintain the program indefinitely?

How is the general public engaged in the program?

Get answers to these questions and more in an interactive two-hour seminar led by Phyllis Stiles, Founder and Executive Director of Bee City USA and Bee Campus USA.

This seminar is a presentation of the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones.  It will provide more detailed information about the establishment of Bee City USA and Bee Campus USA sites than Ms. Stiles' presentation at the Symposium on Saturday, March 17th.

Cost: $30 (general public); $25 (Wild Ones members)

Enrollment limited to 25 individuals

Registration Policy:  The number of attendees for this workshop is limited.  To give everyone the best opportunity to participate, there is a non-refundable cancellation fee of $10, with the balance refunded if you cancel at least 7 calendar days before the workshop will be held.  If the workshop is cancelled by the instructor or by Wild Ones, registrants will get a full refund.
