2018 Fighting in Structures with a Pistol - Sept 15

Course Summary:

This class will focus on tactics that one person would use to negotiate architectural obstacles found in a building. We will cover searching/clearing techniques as well as direct action against active killers or home invaders. If time permits we will briefly cover two-person tactics. We will be using our live fire shoot house for this training.

We know that when it comes to building searches one person is not the preferred method, but we have come to realize that (time is life) and one person may be our only option.

Prerequisites:

There are no pre-requisites for this class, but this not a class for someone with little to no gun handling experience. You will be asked to demonstrate safe gun handling skills such as muzzle awareness and trigger finger discipline during dry and live fire drills at the beginning of class on the square range before being allowed in the shoot house.

1 Day - 9:00am-5:00pm

Gear Requirements:

Modern defensive pistol.
Holster Type. IWB, OWB, no shoulder, cross draw or small of back
At least two magazines and a mag pouch
Sturdy belt
ELECTRONIC Ear protection
Eye protection
Ammo: 300rds
Lunch/snacks and water

Portable Fascilities onsite

Course Cost:

Introductory price of $150. Tuition includes instruction, range access.
