2018 Intro to Fighting Shotgun - Aug 4 

Course Summary:

Though not as popular as it once was the shotgun is still often the close-quarter tool of choice, due to its high-hit probability and impressive terminal ballistics. Our course will not only teach you how to run your shotgun in an efficient manner but will also help you better understand the capabilities and devastating effects of this defensive weapon system.

Prerequisites:

Open mind and knowledge of safe gun handling practices.

Course Length/Hours:

1 Day - 9:00am-5:00pm

Topics Covered:

  • Ammo selection
  • Loading and Reloading
  • Sighting
  • Patterning
  • Recoil management
  • Capabilities and Effects
  • Single and Multiple target engagement

 Gear Requirements:

  • Fighting Shotgun, pump or semi-auto (barrel 20 inches or less)
  • A way to carry extra shells on the gun or your person
  • Eye Protection
  • ELECTRONIC Hearing protection
  • Hat, ball cap style
  • Hydration fluids and food for the day

 Ammo:

  • 200rds Birdshot #6, #7.5
  • 15 Buckshot
  • 15 Slugs

$150 per person.
