8th Annual Afterschool Conference

"Be an Afterschool Enrichment STAR!"

The District School Board of Pasco County's Office for After School Enrichment Programs, invites you to join other afterschool providers for a day of comprehensive professional development opportunities.  You will select from a variety of workshops focusing on topics that are important for administration, site based management or front line direct care providers.  View the latest in resources and meet vendors in the exhibit area, network and interact with your peers and colleagues while enhancing your knowledge of common interests and challenges in the profession of school age child care.

Your registration includes the full day of workshops, lunch, free exhibit area, fabulous opening and Keynote speakers and other fun activities sprinkled throughout the day!  Training certificates will be provided for each registrant at the conclusion of the days activities and CEU's will be available for a nominal fee.  This is a day you don't want to miss.

Meredith Scott Lynn understands the value of stories and self-expression. It’s no wonder she founded a company that makes young people of all ages published authors of original storybooks they create in a disguised learning process that’s exciting, not exhausting. A recognized film and television actress who you’ve likely seen in big movies such as Legally Blonde (look for her in Legally Blonde 3), A Night At The Roxbury, Forces of Nature, Hollywood Homicide and award-winning independent films you can find on Netflix. She’s appeared in countless television shows, most notably as the too often drunk and deluded Anne Milbauer on the Emmy-winning soap opera Days of Our Lives. If she’s not at her office in Los Angeles, she’s on yet another airplane heading to yet another city to rap with and for educators from between and beyond the bells at conferences nationwide! 

As Founder & CEO of WRiTE BRAiN WORLD, her mission is to foster self-esteem and elevated expression in anyone of any age by offering innovative, fun, and engaging programs that help students discover and develop inspired ideas, which they learn how to express successfully.  Seeking to create collaborative and compassionate contributors by offering experiences that elevate academic and personal confidence, it is Meredith's goal to shipt the conversation around student assessment from one rooted solely in standardized testing to one grounded in appreciation for "the whole student."  Team WRiTE BRAiN works hard to provide project-based, sopcial-emotional skills-building literacy platforms for all students to develop , share, and value their voices!
