Introduction to Government Contracting and Cybersecurity
Learn how to grow you business by selling to federal, state and local government entities and prime contractors. Government contracting can help diversify your business but demands a completely different go-to-market approach than does the commercial sector. Fortunately, the Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) Alliance Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is here to help guide you through the process. This seminar will cover the basics of government contracting and how to get started.
Internet access and basic computer knowledge are key components of selling to the government, and keeping your company safe online is vital. In today’s online age, the number of threats to businesses and their customers increases every day. Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) offer a number of cybersecurity resources to help your business learn about potential cybersecurity threats, help your company become better prepared, and learn how to respond to suspicious activity or a cybersecurity attack.
