The Command and General Staff College Foundation and Kansas State University are conducting a leader development symposium entitled Leaders of Tomorrow on Thursday, March 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Kansas State University Olathe campus (22201 W. Innovation Drive, Olathe, Kansas 66061).

The military and the private sector differ in how they develop leaders. – The Leaders of Tomorrow symposium brings these two groups together, offering a morning of relationship building that will allow the attendees to address leader development through the lens of both their personal and organizational perspectives.

To kick off the symposium, Richard B. Myers, Kansas State University president, will deliver the keynote address. After the keynote, attendees will participate in roundtable discussion groups comprised of mid-career business leaders, an executive leader and a mid-career military officer. Discussion topics will focus on building one’s path to leadership by providing guidance and support in an interactive environment. Lynn Parman, CEO of the American Royal Association, will provide closing keynote remarks.
