Olivette Park Ultra 

The Olivette Park Ultra is a multi-category race event held in East St. Louis, Illinois to raise awareness of and funds for The Olivette Park development of the Christian Activity Center (CAC). The Christian Activity Center cares for children and families in East St. Louis through faith, education, and wellness programming.

This race itself is called  “Running Down a Dream Urban Ultra” because it reflects the vision that the Christian Activity Center is pursuing in restoring over 20 acres that was once an urban jungle into a community park filled with floral and edible gardens, soccer fields, baseball fields, a splash pad, playgrounds, and much more.  The racetrack will consist of a 1-mile figure 8 around this budding new park.

Early bird registration available until March 31st, 2018. Registration closes Tuesday, April 24th, 2018. Please join us for a post game meal at 7:30pm where awards will be presented and we will share more information about the Olivette Park development project.

Please be aware that the race will be ran in all conditions (no weather refunds are available). Race registration fees are not refundable under any circumstances.

We are looking for people who are interested in volunteering in various capacities throughout the day! All volunteers will receive an event shirt and will be fed throughout. If interested, please reach out to Matt Cowman (contact information listed at left).

Schedule of the day:

6:00am-6:45am: Check in & packet pick-up for 12 hour runners & 12 hour relay teams

7:00am: 12 hour race & 12 hour relay begins

12:00pm-12:45pm: Check in & packet pick-up for 6 hour runners

1:00pm: 6 hour race begins

5:00pm-5:45pom: Check in & packet pick-up for 1 hour runners

6:00pm: 1 hour race begins

7:00pm: Post race meal begins/award ceremony
