QuickBooks Basic
This workshop provides basic training in the use of QuickBooks Online accounting software. Through a demonstration and hands-on format, you’ll get an overview of how to effectively use QuickBooks from the perspective of a small business owner. We will cover the following subjects as they apply to your company:
- - Company setup
- - Chart of accounts
- - Products & Services setup
- - Generate invoices
- - Receive payments
- - Make deposits
- - Pay bills
- - Write checks
- - Generate accounting reports and financial statements
This is an interactive session, and participants are encouraged to bring a fully-charged laptop and download QuickBooks Online Essentials version via a free 30-day trial from https://.search2.quickbooksonline.com to get hands-on experience during class. To download QuickBooks Online go to the above website and click on the Essentials “Free 30-Day Trial”. On the next screen enter your email address and a password that you create. No credit card is required for the Free 30-Day Trial. Participants are also encouraged to bring their company’s Income Statement and Balance Sheet, if available, to help customize their Chart of Accounts.
