New Jersey District Export Council (NJ DEC) is hosting a terminal tour at The Port of NY & NJ. Learn about the state-of-the-art technology and equipment, designed to increase safety and improve reliability and productivity. Listen to The Port Authority of NY & NJ on the effect of raising The Bayonne Bridge, one of the longest steel arch bridges in the world; how this multiyear project was completed ahead of schdule, allowing much larger vessels into the port. Date: Tuesday, June 5, 2018
Time: 9:30 am to noon.
Location: Cape Liberty Cruise Terminal, 4 Port Terminal Blvd, Bayonne.
Cost: $50 per person includes coffee and cake; fees are used to cover expenses associated with running the event. The Port Authority of NY & NJ nor its terminals charge for a tour of their facilities.
Bus seats are limited.
Tour will be of particular interest for professionals in logistics, international trade, equipment science and maritime transportation. All welcome. Open to ages 18+ please.
