Introduction to Using Google for Small Business

Having a website with a professional appearance is essential for promoting your business. Monmouth SCORE is pleased to offer a series of seminars on using the resources available from Google to promote your small business. These seminars will be presented by Jim Mahlmann and Kate Rafferty from NetCetra LLC.

In our first seminar you will learn:

1)  How to set up a Google small business website and why it's smart business to do so?

2)  Who owns and operates your small business google website and why it's important to know ?

3)  Why it's important to have and use a Gmail business account with your Google small business website ? 

4)  How to be an effective administrator of your Google small business website and make it secure ?
 
This workshop is designed to be interactive and hands on. Bring your laptops so the presenter can work with you on your actual small business website to assist you in maximizing it's potential.

About Our Presenters:

 

James A. Mahlmann - NetCetra LC Managing Partner

James expertise at NetCetra includes: Web Design, Programming, Internet Marketing, Social Media, Email Servers, Web Hosting, Collocation Center for Businesses, Virtual Private Servers and Cloud Applications (Windows and Linux), Spam Filters and On-Line Back Up. He has played an active role in several business organizations including the Monmouth Ocean Development Council and the New Jersey Business and Industry Association. James was a Founding Member of the Coalition for Technical Education, an organization that works with businesses of all sizes and types to bring student  interns into their environment and help them upon graduation.

 


 

Kate Rafferty - Marketing Manager at Netcetra

Kate manages the Internet Marketing services including but not limited to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media Optimization. In addition to developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, she is also responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance and modifying the strategy as needed to maximize ROI.  This includes SEO activities, such as key phrase research, content development, and making website enhancements to increase rankings on all major search networks.
