Six Steps to E-Publishing

Self Publish in 2018 and Make an Impact!

Who should attend?
Business owners and authors new to e-publishing who wish to promote their business and/or publish their work online, avoiding the frustrations and time constraints of conventional publishing.

Overview

Being a published author is a great way to establish or enhance your brand and put your business out there. When you publicize, promote or explain your business with a self-published e-book, you’re more likely to get new clients, or speaking engagements. You avoid the obstacles and pitfalls that go with trying to get work published in conventional print media.

People who are new to writing about their own business or to publishing can explore e-publishing to create their business-related or other type of book. Topics can range from explanations of how your business works or its benefits to “how to” books, manuals and novels.

Participants walk through a six-step e-publishing plan to enable them to publish their book by the end of 2016. A hands-on worksheet demonstrates how to define the target audience/readers. Brainstorming groups help to generate creative keywords that attract web traffic.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to follow the six following steps that can result in self-publishing on Amazon:

  • Describe how to perform keyword research
  • Outline the criteria designing an attractive book cover
  • Select the right categories for your book
  • Summarize ways to optimize your book title for online searches and discovery
  • Calculate the right price for your book
  • Choose the best royalties package

Instructor:

Ayelet (Ally) Nathaniel

Ayelet (Ally) Nathaniel is an author and mom to three young children who have inspired her to write and publish children’s books. To date she has published thirteen titles: Her first book “Sparkly Me” made it to the #1 best seller position on Amazon for children ages 0-6 for 16 weeks and sold more than 40,000 copies.

Ally works with budding authors, business people, consultants, and experts in their fields to conquer the steps to write, publish and sell their own book on Amazon, as well as other popular self-publishing platforms (e-book, print & Audio). Through Ally Nathaniel eBook Publishing Services, she assists business owners and authors to self-publish their books by guiding them through the entire self-publishing process. She offers assistance with the writing, finding illustrators, editors and (when necessary) ghostwriters, and works with clients on ways to promote their books after publishing and listing on Amazon.

Workshop fees: $59 online pre-registration; $69 walk-ins.

There is a $10 discount on all Student and SEAP registrations
(valid ID must be presented at the door; bring SEAP form to the workshop).
