HR101 – Hiring, Onboarding, and Paying Employees 

Learn how you can add productive and engaged employees to your team. The seminar will cover: federal laws impacting hiring decisions, progressive discipline for performance issues, legal matters with employee termination, the costs that come from poor hiring practices, and how to implement an effective recruiting and hiring process.

Emily Harper is a Human Resources Generalist with over six years of experience in the Human Resources field. Her resume includes working at Nike in the Talent Acquisition department, as well as serving as Human Resources Manager for one of the largest women’s health care clinics in the Memphis area. She is a member of SHRM, Memphis Chapter. Emily attended the University of Memphis where she received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
